Summer 2005 begins!!

So a little recap of the past week:
April 16 - mini golf, REV, chilling with friends
April 17 - moving, bbtea - first night back!
followed by lots of sleeping in and meals at home!

ok... there's more than just that. Here are a few highlights:

April 22 - Medieval times (intense vocal day 1)
It's funny how it was more fun than I expected. You really have to be a kid and be really really into it! You just gotta cheer and jeer at the jousting :)

April 23 - Hot Hot Heat, The Futureheads, Louis XIV at the Kool Haus! (intense vocal day 2)
Quite a show... makes you feel old because they're all kids there. There was a lot of energy from the crowd though I didn't care much of Hot Hot Heat's band chemistry. The Futureheads was impressive but you gotta listen to their album to know because there's too much going on. All in all a good night ending up with sore knees and muffled ears...

April 25 - Garbage, The Dead 60s at Kool Haus! (intense vocal day 3)
AMAZING! Shirley Manson is so awesome! The band played like 3-4 songs from every album!
self-titled: Queer, I'm Only Happy When It Rains, Supervixen, Stupid Girl
v2.0: Push It, Hammering in My Head, When I Grow Up, and special request from the audience (we got a verse of You Look So Fine!)
Beautiful Garbage: Cherry Lips... unfortunately, I can't remember if they played anything else from there
Bleed Like Me: Sex is Not the Enemy, Bad Boyfriend, Bleed Like Me, Metal Heart, Why Do You Love Me, Right Between the Eyes
I'm surprised they didn't have a second encore...
Yay! I got to see Butch Vig! :D

It's gloomy out but that's all good :)
