"I've got a story it's almost finished... now all I need is someone to tell it to; maybe that's you"
Ah good ol' Jimmy Eat World :)

And so, another chapter in my life is coming to a close; this one was particularly good with some of the best years of my life coupled with some bad times too... what is life without balance?
It's been an amazing four and a half years and it all started at North 4. It's funny how things come full circle. It's just like how an essay is supposed to be written - start with an introduction, then you got a body followed by a conclusion that comes full circle and adds an extension. Chapters in life can be written the same way and the next chapter is going to be just as exciting because change is good when it's time to move on.
It doesn't mean that it won't be sad. It is. It was an incredible experience but the next part will be just as good if not better but different.
This was a term of passively confronting things. I had my "quarter life crisis" already so this was a perfect time to deal with all those things I had pinpointed before. Like Goldschlager... I had it again after going cold turkey on it for two years and it went well. That was one of the many reasons that sparked this blog entry and it was the beginning of a most fitting end to my undergraduate career.
The post exam celebration was marked by seeing everyone I didn't get a chance to hang out with for a while. It all started with dinner with Kishen and John at Jamaican Jerk... one of the best places in the plaza that I am sure I will miss slightly in the years to come; Downloading from a 300gb debian server at the guys (343) house and entertaining Roger and Jason was reminiscent of those wonderful internet days; Watching movies and listening to music with Justin and Kosta was just like how we all started; And ending the night at 4am was just typical of my nighthawk ways.
Then came mini golfing and assorted adventures with Iris. Ate my beloved chicken mcnuggets, spicy salt squid and black current bubbletea. Hung out with our North Four boys. A spontaneous Rev event was in order. Full circle because the very first time I went to Rev, it was with the same people but minus the glowsticks! It was the best because they played every type of music I remember listening to in university: 80s, old school hip hop, dance, house, normal hip hop (usher and mase!), a little big of reggae mixed in with latino... and enjoying myself because I was dancing to everything! Too bad no Mel's because it's just not the same anymore. And now, another late night where I come home to my JJ who says hi :) He's my perfect extension to my well-written chapter!
1A friends set the foundation: Iris has been my partner-in-crime to many adventures since 1A. We love adventures! It's in our nature to discover. We've been roommates since the beginning and it's been quite an amazing ride. I'm going to miss all our mischief and adventures. Justin was my offstream friend and it is amazing that we managed to stay friends all these years. If it wasn't for him, I am sure I wouldn't have become the person I am today. All my friends and all the characters made everything so interesting. I had amazing friends and Waterloo was such a better place because we knew how to make our own fun! A lot of people may be moving away but everything is the way it is for a reason. You know who your true friends are - just like the North 4 crew - it doesn't matter whether or not we hang out every day, it's just as comfortable when we get back together!
Tomorrow I will move away from Waterloo for the last time and a new chapter, as well as my summer, begins...

You know, I don' t think that Quarter Life Crises get enough credit, or press. Most everyone with any worldly experience or ambition must get it these days.... "Oh my GOD I don't OWN a HOUSE or a CAR and I'm not in an established CAREER yet I'm already TWENTY and I've ACHIEVED NOTHIIIING!!!!!" I'm going to write a post on that....
