I'm making mixed CDs for my drives to and from Toronto... so I need some good music. My latest thing is Nada Surf's 2002 album, Let Go. Yes, Avril Lavigne had an album by the same title but Nada Surf's came out first. So there. It doesn't matter... good music is good music :)

I love Lost. Few TV shows catch my attention the way Lost and 24 do. The past few seasons of 24 (ie. the 2nd and I never really caught on in the 3rd until the season was over) were disappointing just because they're not as mind-blowing as the first. A part of me is struggling with giving it a chance... but I hear it's good.
But Lost. Wow... what an amazing show. It's got everything I want: good plot, good characters... and it's entirely a character study with the action on the side. I love it. I love Sawyer... he's such a great jerk but I think he's better than the surface-jerk he is. But yeah, he's a criminal... but manipulated... so not as smart? I don't know... just a feeling. Lost is like a long movie. I can't ever watch TV shows that don't have a linking plot through the whole season with the same interest again. And every time I watch these shows, I think so much afterwards about this and that and come up with my own crazy theories about what might happen next...
Which leads me to the fact that I think everyone on Lost is in heaven... like in Sixth Sense... you know? I mean, how else do you explain Locke's legs?! Or that kid with the powers? There's something philosophical in all this... and I love thinking about it :)

Math Grad ball is this weekend. I didn't intend for it to be a big deal but it's turning out to be one... I now have a hair appointment... yeah... I don't know how that happened. I went dress shopping last weekend... and saw a dress I liked but wasn't willing to drop $150 on it... but it was aqua... I love aqua. I don't like those traditional black/red dresses as much... I'd love an aqua dress like the one I saw on the weekend... well... it wasn't perfect... I'm rambling again.
But yeah, it's my blog! I can ramble heehee
So like I was saying... orange or canary yellow dresses are cool too if only I could wear those colours... I mean... yeah... I'm sticking with aqua :)
And the best part is... JJ is coming tomorrow!! YAY!!!!!!!!!
