Triumph or Disaster?

The Smashing Pumpkins are in the recording studio?! I mean, SP was my favourite band back in the day and I've missed them and still listen to them. Some of my favourite songs were the less-talked about ones on Mellon Collie. Who can deny the genius of Siamese Dream? I still loved the low-key songs on Adore. I can't believe this is happening.

This could be the greatest thing to happen or it could just be totally disastrous. I mean, this is what, 10 years later? I don't know - I'd approach this with a ton of skepticism but I'm glad to see that Billy is still alive and kicking. I really doubt James and D'arcy will be back to recreate the magic but damn, Jimmmmmy!!!!!! Can't wait but we'll just have to see.

Wow. I did jump at the sight of the SP heart though :)
