yes, I am in Orlando again

Starting in Deloitte's AIS practice is a bit funny... you really don't do much travelling for work but all the travelling that I have been doing lately has been for "training": Orlando, Itasca (Illinois), Lake Geneva (Wisconsin), and now, Orlando again. If it's anything I've learned, it's about what our entire Human Capital practice does so at least it does "add value". It doesn't exactly apply to a lot of my day-to-day functions in AIS...
At all of these things, they encourage (or push or force even?) us to network with everyone. I understand how networking is important but I have probably spent more hours networking than actually working. I appreciate the culture and how they encourage this so I don't mind... but I just need my own time. Like right now, I can't wait to go home.
Through all this, I have made some good friends which I am very happy about. These things wouldn't be the same without them.

And now I understand how consultants get fat too... uh oh...
